In the episode of Bhagya Lakshmi 8th July 2023, the scene begins with Lakshmi suppressing her desire to embrace Rishi. She scolds him for going to great lengths to uncover unnecessary evidence on her behalf. Lakshmi stands there in silence, explaining that she arrived home earlier than the other family members to ensure everyone's comfort.Rishi is taken aback and approaches Lakshmi, holding her hands. He urges her to focus on his eyes and trust him. Rishi goes on to reveal that Vikrant is not a genuine person; he is already married and is attempting to deceive Lakshmi in order to ruin her life.
Lakshmi stands there bewildered and dismisses Rishi's claims, stating that he cannot try to deceive her now. She is determined to marry Vikrant and leave the Oberoi mansion forever, defending Vikrant as a trustworthy man. Rishi swears upon his own name, placing his hands on Lakshmi's head. However, before he can continue, Malishka intervenes and accuses Rishi of trying to stop Lakshmi's wedding in order to win her back again.
